How to make a Christmas Wreath, with baubles

If you’re like us, you believe more-is-more and there is no better time for maximalist styling than at Christmas. It’s also the most wonderful time of the year after all, and you can never have too much cheer! Our wreaths are the perfect touch of native Australiana, but for those who are looking for a little extra, this DIY is for you.

  1. Start with your favourite wreath. We’ve used our traditional green Gum Leaf Wreath but if you’re looking for something a little more modern, our cream Alba wreath might be for you.
  2. Carefully weave and wrap your favourite stems around the wreath, with flower buds on the outside and stems on the inside. As we’re wanting that traditional look, we’ve used our red banksia stems, however, with our range of artificial flower stems you can reach for whatever colours fits your styling.
  3. Add a collection of hanging decorations, such as baubles. We like to use fishing line to invisibly secure them to the wreath.

We can’t wait to see how you style your wreaths, be sure to tag us with @pillowtalkaustralia on Instagram!
