  1. Curtains

The placement of your curtains is essential! Be sure you take your rods higher than the window trim (if possible) as this will not only elongate the room and make it feel bigger. It’ll also allow for maximum light to shine into the space.

  1. Seating for the occasion

The seating arrangement we choose will depend on how we like to use the space. Think about its purpose and whether or not you’ll need extra for guests.

  1. Layers of lighting

The more lighting you have in the room the more mood you can create. Consider wall lamps, floor lamps, overhead lighting. This will help you to always create the right ambience.

  1. Happy plants

Bring your space to life with greenery! Whether it be real or artificial it’s sure to boost the mood. We’re all about bring the outdoors in and the living room is no exception.

  1. Add texture

This is our favourite part as we can switch this out as we feel and for the seasons. It’s also what adds visual interest to our spaces. At the moment we’re loving tasseled cushions, lightweight throws and linen textures.

  1. Finishing touches

Lastly, it’s time to add our personality. Don’t forget to have fun with it! Think wall art, floral arrangements and stylish baskets. The world is your oyster.
