Linen SheetsLinen is a natural fibre that softens with every wash to give a gorgeous, lived in look. Incredibly chic, it is the epitome of luxury style with subtle texture and an elegant drape. Benefits of Linen Sheets:
Crisp or Sateen? The way in which fabric is woven contributes to its feel. Cotton sateen sheets, for example, are softer than those with a classic flat weave. A sateen weave has more warp threads on the top surface, resulting in a silk-like touch. Which is better? It’s a matter a personal taste; some people prefer the crispness of a flat weave, others like the softness of the sateen finish. Do Thread Counts, Count? Thread count refers to the number of threads woven into 10sq centimeters of fabric. There is a common misconception that the higher the thread count, the better the quality of sheet. A quality bed sheet should be determined by the type of fibre, and the way it makes you feel – you’re the one that has to sleep on it! The wall size or depth of the sheet is either 40cm or 50cm across all ranges. These size variations cater for modern mattresses which may have a deeper wall.
