Gestures of Comfort for Mother’s Day
A different kind of Mother’s Day this year provides the opportunity to get a little creative with your gestures of comfort for a mum you admire. It may not be how we ususally spend our Mother’s Day, but we have collated a few of our favourite ways you might show how much you care this year.
A unique way of wrapping
Avoid disposable wrapping paper this year by dressing your present in something as beautiful as it is practical. Our new Andrea tea towel range makes for the perfect way to wrap small gifts and she will be able to enjoy using the stunning design for years to come. If you don’t live with your mother and are practicing social distancing, pop your beautifully wrapped present in our Noosa Basket with a bunch of roses and leave it on her doorstep. We know she will be overwhelmed with appreciation.
Breakfast in bed
You can still treat your mum to breakfast in bed, even from afar! Why not have our oh-so-comfy Aspen bedrest delivered to her home. You can shop online or call any of these stores to have it delivered, as well as some fresh fruits and pastries from your local bakery or supermarket so that she can still enjoy the experience. Give her a call via FaceTime while she is enjoying her breakfast so you still feel connected.
An indoor picnic
If you have small children get them (and dad!) involved in setting up the perfect indoor picnic for you! Set yourself up with cushions and ottomans for seats, a pallet for a table, our gorgeous Cuba dinnerwear and your favourite fruits and pastries and make memories you’ll never forget. Time spent together on Mother’s Day, however it is done, should always be treasured.
We hope we’ve helped inspire you to think outside the box this Mother’s Day and to find some creative ways to make special memories, even if they’re from afar. Share your Mother’s Day plans with us with #PillowTalkAustraliaxMothersDay on Instagram.
