3 easy desserts for summer

Summer is the season of fun but it’s also the season of delicious food shared over laughter with friends and family. To help you enjoy the entertaining season a little more we’ve designed a range of glassware bowls (we want to impress our guests at least after all!) to impress and impress you will with these 3 delicious and easy-to-make desserts.

Dessert 1 – Strawberry Magic

Ingredients

Fresh strawberries

Mini meringues

Whipped cream

Raspberry coulis

Chocolate flake

Steps

Slice tops off strawberries, turn upside down on chopping board and cut into thin slices

Place the slices of strawberries around the inside of the bowl

Drop in desired amount of mini meringues

Spoon whipped cream on top

Add another layer of mini meringues

Top with whipped cream

Pour raspberry coulis over

Crumble chocolate flake to finish

Dessert 2 – Berry Bliss

Ingredients

Fresh raspberries

Fresh Blueberries

Sponge cake

Raspberry coulis

Meringue nests

Whipped cream

Fresh sprig of mint

Steps

Place a mix of fresh blueberries and raspberries as a base

Crumble a small amount of sponge cake over berry base

Spoon raspberry coulis over sponge and fresh berries

Add a meringue nest as the next layer

Dollop a generous amount of whipped cream

Finish by spooning over raspberry coulis, topping with fresh berries and a sprig of mint to garnish

Dessert 3 – Passion Lover

Ingredients

Sponge cake round (approx. 8cm)

Lemon and passionfruit sauce

Meringue nest

Whipped cream

Fresh mint leaves to garnish

Icing sugar to dust

Steps

Use a scone cutter that’s a little smaller than the bowls interior to cut out a round of sponge cake

Place sponge cake round as a base in the Florence bowl

Add a drizzle of lemon and passionfruit sauce

Snap a meringue nest into a few pieces as the next layer

Top with whipped cream

Pour over lemon and passionfruit sauce

Sprinkle fresh mint leaves and finish with a dusting of icing sugar
