Getting your girls together this Galentine’s Day? If this is your first Galentine’s Day, or you’re looking to step it up from last year, let us help you make the day truly special! Now wait, some reading this may be wondering what on Earth ‘Galentine’s Day’ is? Well, as they say, “it’s only the best day of the year!” The term was first coined by character Leslie Knope on an episode of Parks and Recreation and is celebrated on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day. It’s a chance for you to bring all your girlfriends together and celebrate just how much they mean to you and how blessed you are to have them in your life.
So, to make this the best Galentine’s Day the best yet, we’ve put together some of our best tips for creating a truly Insta-worthy Galentine’s brunch table and a couple of gift ideas as well.
1. Layers, layers, layers!
Layers are the key to a truly luxe brunch table! Here, we’ve used three different placemats, the Ashra, the Henley and the Delta, not because we think your friends might get croissant crumbs all over the table, but because the mix of colours and textures give this table a really inviting look. We’ve also used the beige and blush Ashra table cloth, table runner and napkins to finish it off.
2. Belle Fleurs
There’s no doubt the first thing your friends are going to notice when they see your beautiful brunch table is the stunning bouquet of flowers in the centre. Given that Galentine’s Day is just like Valentine’s Day, but just slightly different, we’ve gone for the same theme with the flowers. Opt for roses, but in less traditional colours than red for the perfect Galentine’s Day bouquet. The best part is it’s almost impossible to tell these flowers aren’t real and they will look wonderful for many years to come.
3. The Perfect Scent
The perfect scent instantly sets the mood of any room. Our Circa Home Coconut and Watermelon fragrance is warm, fruity and totally captivating making it just right for a Galentine’s brunch!
4. Gifts for your Galentine’s
Before your Galentine’s Day brunch, give each guest a buddy to buy a gift for so everyone walks away with a little something! Dress a bunch of imitation flowers up in beautiful brown paper and ribbon or give them a piece of the day to take home with them in the form of a candle or diffuser in the same scent as the one you used at the brunch. The possibilities are endless!
